The Maritime Employment Week 2022 is held from March 21 to 25, 2022. An opportunity to discover for the candidates to enter the nautical professions and to put forward the companies of the yachting industry in search of employees.

A meeting place for all maritime professions

Since its inception in 2016, the Maritime Employment Week has become a fixture in the calendar of events related to the sea-related professions. Created by the Pole Emploi, it aims to highlight the opportunities present in all the sectors of the blue economy. This includes a multitude of positions, from onboard jobs to service through boat building. The public agency works in partnership with training organizations, associations and companies in the sector.

Numerous events throughout France

While the lack of fluidity of the interface created by Pole Emploi at the national level, which refers to local pages where the information is sometimes difficult to find, the organizers claim to have organized more than 300 events throughout France. The activities range from open houses at training centers and vocational high schools to job dating, themed meetings with professionals at Pole Emploi agencies and company visits.

All aspects of boating and yachting

Among the company visits, we note visits of nautical construction sites of different sizes, as well as training centers such as the AFPA.
