An exhibition afloat in the heart of London

British Marine, the representative body for the British marine industry, has announced a new event called London Luxury Afloat. The afloat show will be held in the heart of London, at the foot of Tower Bridge, in St. Katharine Docks. Scheduled for April 21-24, 2022, the event will focus on exclusivity, with some 30 high-end sailing and power boats up to 25 meters in length.

Supporting the UK luxury yacht industry

Deliberately positioned at the top end of the market, London Luxury Afloat announces the presence of Oyster Yachts, Sunseeker, Failine and Azimut for its first edition. The new Oyster 495 will make its world premiere. Organized by the seasoned teams that also run the Southampton International Boat Show, the event also aims to support the UK's high-end yachting sector. "Our close support of those working for the premium yacht market has directly led to the development of an event tailored to the industry's prospects. The UK luxury yacht sector generates a significant percentage of the economy, employment and exports amongst our £4 billion profit, and 38,000 employees. Its success has a positive impact on builders, their entire supply chain and supporting service partners," said Lesley Robinson, Chief Executive of British Marine.
