The Dubai International Boat Show will not take place in spring 2026 as planned. The show's organizers, the Dubai World Trade Centre, have announced the postponement of the event to November 25-29, 2026 at Dubai Harbour. This decision puts an end to several weeks of uncertainty for exhibitors and visitors to the Gulf's leading boating event.
A postponement decided in an uncertain regional context
The show was originally scheduled to open on April 8, 2026. But the evolving conflict in the Middle East and its impact on international travel led the organizers to revise the timetable.
In a message addressed to exhibitors and partners, the Dubai World Trade Centre explains that it studied market conditions and international travel flows before taking this decision.
The organizers say they have worked in consultation with local authorities and players in the nautical industry to determine a new, more favorable period. The choice of the end of November should enable international participation to be maintained, while offering greater visibility to companies in the sector.
A busy November nautical calendar
However, the new Dubai International Boat Show schedule is having a domino effect on regional boating events.
The show will now be held just a few days after the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show, scheduled from November 19 to 22, 2026. Prior to this, the Dubai Pre Owned Boat Show is scheduled to take place from November 12 to 15 at the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club Marina.
This succession of events in a very short space of time could complicate logistics for some exhibitors, notably shipyards and equipment manufacturers present at several shows.
