Hella Marine to be taken over by Faurecia

The Hella Group, parent company of the marine lighting specialist Hella Marine, has announced that it has been taken over by a major French automotive supplier. It will become a subsidiary of Faurecia, now under the name of a group called Forvia. At this stage, the marine business is not in question.

X-Shore signs with Kreisel Electric

Swedish fast electric boat builder X-Shore has signed an OEM battery supply agreement with Austrian brand Kreisel Electric. The next boats of the Eelex 8 000 model will be equipped for the next 5 years with a KBP pack of 126 kWh. The market is worth 50 Meuros. The Austrian battery manufacturer is recently under the flag of the North American engine manufacturer John Deere.

B&G partners with Vaan Yachts

The Navico Group's electronics brand has announced that it has been awarded an original equipment contract with catamaran builder Vaan Yachts. The Dutch aluminum yachts in the R4, R5 and R6 ranges will feature B&G hardware. Each boat will be equipped with a Zeus 3S multifunction display, as well as displays and instruments from the Nemesis range.

Ancasta takes the Protector Boats card in Europe
