Progress of the classic sailing center in Brest

Announced by Benoît Couturier, owner of the sailboat Mariquita, the desire to create a centre for classic tall ships in Brest seems to be taking shape. The boat has been joined by a second Fife design, the famous Moonbeam IV, which makes the Breton city its home port.

New distributor for Nuva Yachts

The Spanish brand, previously represented in France by the Rochelle-based company Catway, is changing its distributor. The company Passion Nautisme, based in Canet en Roussillon, more specialized in motor boats, will be in charge of selling the models throughout France.

Poralu Marine selected for the Olympic Games

French port equipment manufacturer Poralu Marine has won the Ile de France nautical stadium contract for the 2024 Olympic Games. The company will provide the floating infrastructure for the rowing and canoeing events.

Freedom Boat Club expands in Europe

The American boat club franchise, world leader in the sector, continues to expand in Europe. The subsidiary of the Brunswick Group, announced the acquisition of the Spanish Fanautic Club and its 23 bases (including 17 franchises). Fanautic Club claims 600 members.

Inauguration of the port of Barneville-Carteret

The SPL Les Ports de la Manche has inaugurated the new infrastructure of the Barneville-Carteret marina. Following the works, the Norman town has a new threshold, creating 339 additional berths on pontoons and a visitor pontoon for large yachts on an additional 13 ha of water.
