These two new locations mark an important milestone in the Group's European strategy. This is the first time that an existing franchisee has extended its territory into the EMEA region, illustrating the strength of Freedom Boat Club's development model on the Old Continent.

"This expansion represents a pivotal moment for Freedom Boat Club in Europe. Five years after our arrival on the market, we are witnessing a dynamic of continuous growth driven by our franchisees", explains Arturo Gutierrez, General Manager EMEA of Freedom Boat Club.
A Marseilles-based network
Led by Clément Coffin, a franchisee from the outset, the development in Marseille is part of a complementary territorial network. Now with three home ports, the club is strengthening its appeal to local and tourist customers looking for flexibility and easy access to sailing.

- The Port de La Pointe Rouge, popular for its seaside atmosphere and proximity to the Calanques, offers quick access to La Ciotat or Sanary-sur-Mer. An ideal base for family sailing or relaxation.

- The Port de Servaux, west of Marseille, opens the way to the Côte Bleue. Calanques de Méjean, Ensuès-la-Redonne or Carry-le-Rouet are now accessible to members in a peaceful, modern setting.
Growing demand for flexible boating experiences
The development in Marseilles is part of a wider trend within the Freedom Boat Club network, which has been opening new sites across Europe since 2022. Franchisees are multiplying the number of territories they take over and the number of satellite locations they set up, to meet a fast-growing demand for shared access to pleasure boating, without the constraints of ownership.
"Our subscription-based sailing concept meets a real need for freedom, comfort and simplicity for new boaters", specifies Arturo Gutierrez . "And Marseille, by virtue of its geography and nautical dynamism, is an ideal anchor point to embody this promise. "
Brunswick's European ambitions
With over 400 ports around the world, and a strong presence in France, Spain, the UK and Italy, Freedom Boat Club is clearly demonstrating its European ambitions.
The multi-territorial development initiated in Marseilles could well become the norm for tomorrow's franchisees, backed by the strength of Brunswick, a global boating giant.
