New General Manager at Elvstrom Sails
Danish sailmaker Elvstrom Sails is changing its leadership. The two main shareholders, Thomas Andersen and Preben Terp-Nielsen, have appointed Morten Gantriis Sørensen to succeed Niels Bjerregaard, who leaves in April 2021. The 45-year-old engineer, who has worked in recycling and composite materials companies, will take up his position on August 1, 2021.
The FFVoile appoints its national technical director
Guillaume Chiellino, who has been in charge of the French sailing teams since 2013, has just been appointed National Technical Director (DTN) of the FFVoile. The renowned coach, based in Marseille, will take over from Jacques Cathelineau on 1 August 2021.
Philippe Sabran leaves Intermer
Philippe Sabran is leaving Intermer, the central purchasing office for Accastillage Diffusion stores. He retired on July 12, 2021, after 32 years with the company, at the heart of network management and purchasing.
New general delegate at the FFPP
The French Federation of Marinas (FFPP) has appointed a new general delegate. Camille Contamine, previously delegate for Maritime Affairs for the Union Transport et Logistique de France Overseas, has taken up her post on 5 July 2021. She succeeds Gilbert Le Corre.
Torqeedo appoints VP of Services
Torqeedo, the global specialist in electric motors for pleasure craft, has announced the appointment of Anders Hård as vice president for global services. Already active in the same field at Volvo Penta, he will be responsible for developing the German brand's global service, support and spare parts strategy.
The AFBE changes its president
Yannick Wileveau, founder of Naviwatt, an electric boat manufacturing company, has been elected by the new board of directors of the AFBE (French Electric Boat Association). He succeeds Xavier de Montgros, who spent 7 years at the head of the structure.
