5th edition of the Nautic innovation contest
While the preparation of the Nautic 2021, which everyone hopes will be held physically at Porte de Versailles, the French Nautical Industries Federation (FIN) and its subsidiary in charge of the Paris Boat Show, are getting back to the events of the last few years. They have just presented the details of the 5th edition of the Nautic innovation contest. Like every year, it will reward companies and inventors in the yachting industry who present products or services that promote the sector's ecological transition or facilitate access to sailing for novice boaters. Through the operation, candidates benefit from visibility in the press and among boaters. "It allows the selected companies to gain visibility and notoriety," says Fabien Métayer, general delegate of the FIN.
This edition comes after a special competition during the Virtual Nautic, which crowned the river boat builder Nicols for its electric boat Quattro Fly C and the company Seazen for their internet platform of services around solar boats for boaters.
Practical details
Candidates must submit their files presenting their physical products or services before October 5, 2021. About fifteen project leaders will be selected among all the applications to participate in the final scheduled for December 11, 2021 on the big stage of the Nautic in Paris. They will benefit from a common exhibition place in a space reserved for innovation. The winner will get a stand for the 2022 edition of the Nautic.
