A nautical pitch competition
The Boot Dusseldorf show broke new ground in 2023 with the launch of its Blue Innovation Dock, a space dedicated to promoting innovation, protecting the ocean and bringing together companies involved in sustainable development. Following on from this momentum, European Boating Industry - EBI, which brings together the European boating industry associations, and Yachting Ventures, are launching a new start-up competition.
A group of 5 start-ups will be invited to pitch their products and solutions aimed at making boating more sustainable. A series of criteria will be applied to determine the winner, based on the quality of the presentation, uniqueness, market potential, replicability and, of course, its impact on the sustainability of boating.
Visibility and free stand in 2025
The winning start-up and the other participants will benefit from media coverage at Boot Dusseldorf, which attracts over 235,000 visitors and 1,500 exhibitors every year. The winner will receive a free stand at Boot 2025.
To participate, candidates must register with Yachting Ventures at the link at the foot of the article before December 11, 2023. Selected start-ups will present their pitch on January 23, 2024.
