The Venice Boat Show will be held in June 2021

Venice Boat Show

The Venice Boat Show and the e-Regatta reserved for electric boats in the Italian canals and lagoon will finally be held between 29 May and 5 June 2021. On this occasion, a competition is open for sustainable and ecological boat projects. Applications must be submitted before 15 March 2021 on the website of the Fondazione Musei Civici Venezia. Toyota and Corvus Energy sign hydrogen fuel cell partnership

The Norwegian specialist in energy storage for the maritime environment, Corvus Energy, has announced the signature of a partnership with the Japanese company Toyota in the field of fuel cells. It provides for access to the hydrogen fuel cell technology developed by Toyota for land mobility with a view to developing certified large-scale production for the marine environment by 2024.

Boero changes ownership

The paint specialist, active in the maritime field and antifoulings, Boero changes ownership. The Portuguese group CIN has taken a majority stake in the Italian company.

RespectOcean launches the Ocean Pitch Challenge

The RespectOcean association, which brings together companies from the maritime world and beyond committed to the preservation of the ocean, is launching the 1st edition of the Ocean Pitch Challenge with the French Ministry of the Sea and the Sustainable Ocean Alliance. The aim of this competition is to identify and promote economically viable solutions for the protection of the ocean and its marine and coastal ecosystems. 10 projects among those submitted before 5 April 2021 will be invited to present themselves during a public pitch on 26 May 2021. 3 winners will be selected.

Resocéan signs with Crédit Maritime

The Résocéan association, launched by the CCI Métropole Bretagne Ouest, which brings together local yachting professionals, has renewed its 2-year agreement with Crédit Maritime.
