New collaboration in China for Grand Pavois Organisation

Port of Hebei

The association behind the Rochelais boat show signs a new consultancy contract for a Chinese marina. A study that could lead to the creation of a new yachting event in China.

Design contract for the Hebei port of Qinhuangdao

Grand Pavois Organisation (GPO) announces the signing of a consultancy contract with the city of Qinhuangdao in China's Hebei province. The association, which runs the Grand Pavois de La Rochelle boat show, is thus continuing its international collaboration, particularly with China. In fact, this study mission follows an initial market study for the same customer in 2019 and the marketing and communication of the Shenzen China International Boat Show between 2009 and 2011, as well as the Salao Nautico de Salvador in 2023 and 2024.

Development of yachting and nautical events

GPO's new mission will last 2 years, in 2024 and 2025, with a final report due at the end of July 2025. The specialists from the association, which brings together yachting professionals from La Rochelle, will advise on the development of yachting and nautical activities in the port of Hebei. The eventual organization of nautical events is also on the agenda. It's easy to imagine that the Covid crisis of 2020 delayed and called into question the follow-up to the first mission in 2019, which will now have to be updated, in line with the situation of the yachting industry, emerging from the post-Covid global boom.
