Appointments, departures, job changes... There's been movement at Bénéteau, Wichard, Technique Voile and Fraser Yachts.

Change of presidency at Bénéteau America

As part of its reorganization, the Bénéteau Group continues to modify its organizational chart. Don Smith has been appointed President of Bénéteau America. Having arrived in 2018 as outboard manager for the Antares, Barracuda and Flyer ranges, he replaces Jean-François Lair. In charge of the North and South American market, he reports to Yann Masselot, Bénéteau brand director.

Wichard appoints new US vice-president

The Wichard Group, a French specialist in yachting hardware and rigging, with brands including Wichard, Sparcraft, Profurl, Facnor and Lorima, has appointed a new vice-president for its US subsidiary. After 17 years with New England Ropes, Kevin Coughlin is in charge of marketing in the USA.

A new general manager at Technique Voile

La Trinité sur Mer-based sailmaker Technique Voile is strengthening its organizational chart. Managed since 2016 by sailor and sales director Frédéric Duthil, the company is now headed by a general manager. Harold Baseden, an entrepreneur from the L'Oréal group, joins the sailmaker to support the company's development.

Frédéric Dormeuil joins Fraser Yachts

Charter specialist and broker Fraser Yachts appoints a new Partnership Manager. Frédéric Dormeuil joins the Monaco office to develop the yachting specialist's network.
