The IMS Shipyard was chosen as the base for the America's Cup teams at the ACWS in Toulon. Technical, logistic, press the building site puts everything into action.

Official supplier of the America's Cup

IMS Shipyard was chosen by the America's Cup organization as the official supplier. The refit yard of the Saint-Mandrier will become between 9 and 11 September 2016 the unique technical base for all the teams participating in the America's Cup World Series stage in the bay of Toulon.

Technical and logistical support

IMS Shipyard provides the teams of the Cup with a part of its median as well as lifting means to ensure the displacement, the wedging of the flying catamarans or the storage of material. The premises usually dedicated to the crews of yachts in stopover will also be available for the various teams.

A new activity for IMS

The hosting of the America's Cup is a new opportunity for IMS, which is thus enhancing its dockside infrastructures. Beyond the technical know-how, it is also the capacity of the crews that makes the strength of the yard.

An element of communication

The whole operation allows IMS to reinforce its international visibility. The America's Cup stages generally attract large numbers of spectators to the water, including large pleasure yachts of all flags, traditional IMS customers. The Mediterranean stage will therefore be an ideal showcase.
