Boat & Sea Consulting: training for electrical authorization for nautical operations

The maintenance of electrical and hybrid systems is becoming increasingly important in the boating industry. Technicians and worksites are faced with new regulatory and safety constraints. Specific training is designed to keep pace with these developments.

Thierry Berest - Boat & Sea Consulting offers a two-day training program designed to give participants the necessary reflexes to work on on-board electrical installations. Aimed at professionals in the sector, this training covers both safety and regulatory compliance.

A regulatory framework tailored to the boating industry
The training is aligned with the NF C 18-550 standard, adapted here to the nautical context, and with INRS recommendations (ED 6313). It covers the basics of electricity, risk prevention, legal obligations and the responsibilities of those involved. Practical scenarios complete the training, with real-life situations involving de-energized work and specific cases.

A wide range of target audiences
Electricians, maintenance technicians, design engineers and test personnel are among the target profiles. Sessions take place over two days, i.e. 14 hours of training, and can be adapted to suit the site or worksite. The organizers have announced a schedule of sessions for 2025 and 2026, available on request.

The next meetings will take place at the Cannes Yachting Festival, from September 9 to 13, 2025, and then at the Grand Pavois in La Rochelle on September 25 and 26, 2025, giving professionals the opportunity to find out more about how to take part.
