Revere Survival joins Lalizas

Yachting equipment specialist, distributor and manufacturer Lalizas has announced the acquisition of Revere Survival, an American manufacturer of safety equipment, in particular liferafts. Based in Jacksonville, Florida, the company thus leaves the fold of the Alliance Marine group, another European player in yachting equipment, which acquired it along with the other 3SI group entities in 2018 to join the Greek group.

Different goals for the U.S. market

The two European players indicate that they have different objectives for the American market, justifying this sale, during which they emphasize a smooth transition period with clear communication "exemplary" during the transition period. Already present in the United States since 2018 with the acquisition of Lalizas Alexander in Houston, the group wanted to strengthen its presence there.

Stavros Lalizas explains: "The acquisition of Revere aligns perfectly with our strategic vision and will enable us to enhance our product offering, broaden our market access and strengthen our position in the US market." For his part, Jérémy Tedguy, President of Alliance Marine, explains: "Alliance Marine's strategy is focused on the European market, with the ambition of being the leading BtoB and BtoC parts and equipment distribution platform serving both the yachting and professional marine industry markets. For this reason, we are delighted to see Revere join Lalizas and continue its expansion in the United States. Revere has done a fantastic job, posting +50% growth since 2018."
