A new boat joins the Sea Tow Portland fleet in Maine

Sea Tow continues its expansion with the arrival of a new boat for the Portland, Maine franchise.

Sea Tow, the renowned provider of marine assistance services, has just announced the arrival of a new boat in Kennebunk. The new boat will be based at DiMillo's Marina. DiMillo's, at 4 Doanes Wharf Road, just south of the famous Dock Square on the Kennebunk River.

The Sea Tow Portland/Midcoast franchise has been in Steve Arnold's hands since 2023, and this new boat allows him to be fully operational at marinas in Kennebunk, South Portland, Yarmouth, Naples, Sebago Lake, Bath and Boothbay Harbor.

Staffed by Coast Guard-approved captains, the Sea Tow Portland/Midcoast team responds within an hour on average. The team also patrols the coastal waters of Saco Bay, Portland Harbor, Casco Bay, Freeport, Brunswick, Harpswell and the Boothbay area. They also cover the inland Saco, New Meadows, Kennebec, Sheepscot and Damariscotta rivers, as well as freshwater areas such as Sebago Lake, Long Lake and Brandy Pond.

Present in over 500 marinas

Steve Arnold, with his company Marina Holdings LLC, also offers a range of services from berth sales to winter storage, rental, towing and maintenance. Marina Holdings LLC is also the local representative for Freedom Boat Club of Maine, and offers a water taxi service in Portland harbor and on the Casco Bay islands with Portland Sea Taxi by Sea Tow.

Sea Tow, which celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2023, offers non-emergency assistance to boaters, including breakdown, towing, salvage and fuel delivery. The franchise is present in over 500 marinas in the USA, from Alaska to Puerto Rico, including inland waters.
