Nauticoncept opens its capital to accelerate the Liberty Pass rental offer

Nauticoncept brings in 4 new partners as part of a fund-raising drive to accelerate growth. Romuald Poirot, one of the company's co-founders, explains the choice and objectives.

4 new associates at Nauticoncept

Founded in 2016, nautical digital specialist Nauticoncept is expanding its shareholder base. 4 new partners are joining the company's capital, alongside the 4 pillars Romuald Poirot, Nicolas Wolff, Guillaume Duprez and Joseph Mitton, as well as regional funds and business Angels. They are Arnaud Duriez, formerly of Décathlon, David le Douarin, Tech entrepreneur, Sylvain Bernard, headhunter and company director, and Manuel Janisson, entrepreneur in France and the USA. These 4 new partners join the strategic committee as part of this fund-raising, the amount of which remains confidential. Romuald Poirot, one of the original partners, comments: "The new round of funding also includes our long-standing partners. These new entrepreneurs at our side will have a strategic support role alongside us."

Organizing to develop Liberty Pass

The arrival of the new shareholders is intended to enable Nauticoncept to accelerate its development, as Romuald Poirot explains: "This allows us to structure the sales and marketing teams, in France and internationally with new hires. The initial aim is to develop Liberty Pass globally, and to kick-start growth abroad."

Nauticoncept's long-standing connected-boat activities continue to expand, with new OEM shipyards. Nauticoncept's rental fleet management solutions continue to attract new customers in Europe, but it is the Liberty Pass unlimited rental boat offer that is currently driving the company's growth. Romuald Poirot announces ambitious targets: "We have 80 operational bases in 2023. We want to double the number of subscribers in the short term and aim for 1,500 subscribers very quickly."
