6th edition of the Nautic innovation contest

The Nautical Industries Federation (FIN) and its subsidiary in charge of the Paris Boat Show, have released the details of the 6th edition of the Nautic innovation competition. As every year since 2017, the competition aims to highlight and reward during the Paris Boat Show the companies and inventors of the yachting industry presenting products or services that promote the ecological transition of the sector or facilitate access to navigation for novice boaters.

Thanks to this competition, the candidates benefit from visibility in the press and among boaters. Some winners have since been able to stand out, such as the Temo electric motors.

During the Nautic 2021, the competition rewarded two companies. In the Products category, the prize was awarded to Bluenav, which develops retractable electric motors for new and used boats, with a view to their hybridization. In the services category, G&G Boatwash was distinguished for its in-water boat cleaning stations, an alternative to antifouling solutions by painting the hull.

Practical details

Candidates must submit their files presenting their physical products or services before October 7, 2022. About fifteen project leaders will be selected among all the applications to participate in the final scheduled for December 10, 2022 on the big stage of the Nautic in Paris. They will benefit from a common exhibition place in a space reserved for innovation. The winner will get a stand for the 2023 edition of the Nautic.
