Editorial / Virtual or physical events: Maintaining the link between nautical professionals

The importance of human connection is no longer in question. Once again, the pandemic is making it difficult to meet people. But between digital events and the planning of future physical meetings, we continue to be the voice of these essential initiatives for the yachting industry.

Not a wave, but a long swell

We talked about 2nd, 3rd...today about 5th or 6th wave. But we are far from isolated breakers due to the too fast passage of a semi-rigid in a hurry. It is rather a long swell which settles and facing that, the sailor knows that he has to adapt. To maintain the speed, you have to give the right helm in the crest and in the trough of the wave. Event organizers follow this precept and adapt by alternating, or even combining, online virtual meetings and physical shows.

Maintain meetings for the nautical sector

The Covid-19 was the reason for the second year in a row that the Boot Düsseldorf was cancelled. But the organizers were able to save the BtoB events that were supposed to take place during the German boat show. The International Breakfast Meeting and the 1st edition of the BlueInvest Workshop will finally be held online, bringing together many stakeholders in the yachting industry and beyond . The maintenance of the events allows the nautical industry to keep, admittedly in "degraded mode", the essential link between its professionals.

Preparing for spring and summer

The Covid-19 infection seems to be taking on a seasonal character that gives hope that spring and summer will be spared. It is therefore time for the industry to anticipate the events of this season. Among these, we echo the future Annual Days of Yachting Law organized by Legisplaisance in June 2022 dedicated to the great yacht . Beyond that, we will not fail to update with your information the calendar of BtoB events in the nautical industry .
