Kent Marine partners with ATM Communication for Lowrance and Simrad brands

A partnership has been signed between Kent Marine Equipment and ATM Communication. This joint effort around the Lowrance and Simrad brands could go further as part of the Alliance Marine Group's long-term strategy, explains Antoine Thoreau, communications and marketing manager.

Partnership between ATM Communication and Kent Marine

Kent Marine Equipment, the distribution company of the Alliance Marine Group, has announced the signing of an agreement with ATM Communication. The two-year partnership revolves around all aspects of communication for the Lowrance and Simrad marine electronics brands, which Kent Marine took over distribution from MC Technologies in early 2021. "They will work with us on the production of videos and tutorials for end users, which we distribute on social networks and Youtube. They will also be present with us in events and trade shows. The first one to come is the Grand Pavois, for which they will realize the stand, the supports and the product presentations, notably on the webTV with the Grand Pavois Fishing. Julien Bertho will also be in charge of the pro-staff and 24 ambassadors, 20 for Lowrance and 4 for Simrad at the moment," explains Antoine Thoreau, marketing and communications manager for Kent Marine Equipment.

A specialist in the world of recreational fishing

The association with ATM Communication is also strategic in the recreational fishing market, which the company knows well. "Julien Bertho knows Simrad and Lowrance products well, as a former MC Technologies employee where he worked in marketing and communication for these brands. Today, ATM Communication is very present in the boating and fishing industries, for example on the Barracuda Tour (editor's note: sea fishing competition on the French coast)" underlines Antoine Thoreau.

Kent Marine Equipment's openness to a different communication strategy

The partnership is a long-term one," says Kent Marine Equipment's manager. "It's really a partnership. We really have these skill needs, especially in video, in marine electronics, which is a market that moves a lot and needs to be responsive. At Kent, we are used to doing a lot of communication internally, with our graphic designers and our team, on products that sometimes evolve less quickly. The work with ATM Communication is something we will be able to duplicate in the future on the strong brands we have in distribution at Kent Marine Equipment" concludes the communication and marketing manager of the brand.
