Ocean Hackathon: An opportunity for yachting inventors

End of work at the 2019 Ocean Hackathon

The Ocean Hackathon is recruiting projects for its 2021 edition. More details on this event that can serve as a springboard for future innovations in the maritime and yachting world.

Collaborative innovation for the sea

The Ocean Hackathon is part of the global and French blue economy landscape. For its 6th edition, the concept remains the same: gather volunteers over a short and intense period to think, brainstorm and innovate around projects and ideas related to the marine environment in all its uses. Participants are supported by a panel of experts in support functions such as data science, IT, marine science or business creation support. They also have access to data sources from partners such as Météo France, SHOM, Ifremer, the French Office of Biodiversity and EMODnet, the European marine observation network. For the holders of innovative projects in the various sectors, including yachting, it is an opportunity to benefit from an outside view of their ideas and to create a network around their innovation.
