Provide a consistent IT solution for rental boat fleets
Sailsense Analytics, a Belgian company founded in 2017, offers software solutions for technical monitoring of boats, their management and maintenance. MMK booking manager, based in Croatia is one of the major players in charter boat fleet booking. The company boasts 9,800 boats in 420 destinations and a network of 3,500 registered charter agents. The 2 companies announced a technical partnership to facilitate the combined use of their software. "This is our first agreement with a charter management software. The idea is to offer even more digitalization services to our yacht charter customers" explains Nicolas de Laet, co-founder of Sailsense Analytics.
Common management of boaters' reservations
The new device will allow the automatic transfer of data between MMK and Sailsense Analytics software "Everything will be paperless from one end to the other for the charterer. We were already offering boat monitoring, e-maintenance, digital check-in and check-out on Sailsense Analytics, allowing the recovery of all information (engine hours, incident reports etc...). From now on, MMK's booking data will be pushed directly into Sailsense when the boat leaves and returns, and the documents generated by Sailsense for the check-out will be sent directly into MMK and made available to the client and the charterer", explains Nicolas de Laet. The sharing of maintenance and reservation schedules is also under development.
Towards original equipment installation on boats
The partnership with MML was born from a request from rental companies equipped with Sailsense Analytics, also MMK customers. While 2020 was a complicated year for boat rental professionals, Sailsense Analytics was able to maintain some business development. "We still gained a few hundred boats, as customers took advantage of the situation to get equipped and streamline their processes and be ready for the reboot. The size of our customers is also increasing. We are also working on projects with shipyards to develop the installation of Sailsense on boats as original equipment" concludes the co-founder of the company.
