Land available at the port of Cherbourg

Port Normands Associés, manager of the port of Cherbourg, launches a call for expressions of interest for the reception of shipyards. It is open to the construction, repair and refit of pleasure and work boats. The available lots concern 2 ha of land and buildings for rent. Tenders must be submitted before 16 February 2018.

Sunseeker partners with Formula 1Red Bull team

British shipyard Sunseeker announced at the London Boat Show 2018 its association with Red Bull Advanced Technologies. The 2 partners will develop together a new range of motor boats, taking advantage of the innovations of the Formula 1 world.

Guy Cotten expands

The famous seawear manufacturer Guy Cotten launches the construction of a new 4700 m² building in Trégunc. This ?5 million investment should enable the yellow wax company to cope with the growth in sales, particularly export sales. The premises should be operational in January 2019.

Nordac awarded in the USA

North Sails' new Nordac 3Di fabric, designed in dacron for cruising, received a Pittman Award for innovation from the American newspaper Sail Magazine.

Nautical Interviews 2018

The 9th edition of the Entretiens du Nautisme will be held on 2 February 2018 at the Ti Hanok cinema in Auray. The event, organised by the Morbihan County Council, the University of South Brittany and Auray-Quiberon-Terre-Atlantique, brings together professionals from the Breton nautical sector each year for round tables and conferences on life and innovations in the sector.
