Vesselview, Mercury launches its latest products in France

VesselView502

The new VesselView502 and 702 displays, as well as the VesselView Link, arrive in France for optimal monitoring of Mercury engines.

New multifunction displays

Presented at the Miami Boat Show in February 2016, the new VesselView502 and VesselView702 multifunction displays are available this summer in France. They allow Mercury Vesselview's proprietary interface to be used to its full potential.

The 502 and 702 models are respectively 5 and 7 inches, in 16x9 HD format. They have a touch screen and can display data for up to 4 motors. They can be interfaced with sonar and sonar. They also include a Micro SD card reader and chartplotter, as well as an internal GPS. In addition, Wi-fi and Bluetooth connections and GoFree compatibility enable regular and easy software updates.

VesselView702

The VesselView702 has a keypad and rotary switch for easy operation.

The displays are NMEA 2000 and AIS compatible.

Interface with Simrad and Lowrance

The new VesselView Link device will allow boaters already equipped with Simrad and Lowrance equipment to enjoy all the features of VesselView without installing new displays. Using a Black Box system, this new product interfaces Mercury monitoring with Simrad NSS evo2 and NSO evo2 marine processors and Lowrance HDS Gen 2 Touch and HDS Gen 3 chartplotters and sounders.

Control and Maintenance

VesselView Link allows the user to access the following functions:

  • Eco Mode
  • Troll Control, 10 rpm detent drag speed control
  • Cruise Control depending on engine speed or speed
  • SmartTow launch control system for towed sports
  • A description of possible propulsion failures in 16 languages of your choice
