Since January 1, 2026, HDS Peintures and SOGERIC have been operating under the same banner. This merger marks a milestone in the BtoB distribution of paints, coatings and maintenance products for the yachting, marine and industrial markets.
A unified organization for greater clarity
The first issue addressed by this merger concerns the clarity of the product range. By bringing together two historically distinct structures, the new entity aims to be easier to read for professional customers, whether they are building sites, applicators, ports or industrialists.
A single catalog now includes over 5,000 items from around a hundred brands. This harmonization should facilitate purchasing and reduce the dispersion of ranges, an often sensitive point for multi-site companies or groups of worksites.
Increased product availability and logistics
The merger is accompanied by a strengthening of logistics capacities. The new entity boasts 1,300 square meters of warehouse space and four storage sites across the country. The aim is to improve product availability and reduce lead times.
For yachting professionals, subject to tight site schedules, the question of stock remains central, especially for highly technical paint and surface treatment systems.
Structured expertise in the field
With a staff of 30, including 10 Frosio-certified field sales technicians and experts, the new organization focuses on technical support. This field presence is designed to meet the needs of application, surface preparation and procedural compliance.
A training center based in Marseille, equipped with a paint booth, completes the system. It covers the subjects of application, safety and quality, essential in nautical and industrial environments.
Continuity of commitment and a new identity
While the organization is evolving, the stated commitments remain unchanged. Professionalism, respect and transparency are presented as constants in customer relations. Above all, the evolution is reflected in a new visual identity, with a common logo and graphic charter designed to make the company more identifiable.
Jean Nicolas Barral, General Manager of VDM REYA, points out in the press release that " by bringing together HDS Peintures and SOGERIC, we are creating a stronger, clearer company, capable of going the extra mile to serve our customers" .
Florence Teissedre, Chief Operating Officer of HDS SOGERIC, explains that " this merger brings greater resources and responsiveness, while capitalizing on our know-how and expertise in paint products" .
HDS SOGERIC, a subsidiary of VDM REYA, France's leading BtoB distributor in the marine sector, is part of a strategy to structure the market. This merger illustrates the search for scale, consistency and proximity, in a context where technical and regulatory requirements continue to progress.
