These developments were detailed at a press conference held on the occasion of boot Düsseldorf 2026, confirming the organizers' determination to keep pace with market growth while enhancing the visitor and exhibitor experience.
A new format to support the show's growth
"A new page has been turned for the show, with a renewed team, a completely redesigned visitor trail and the growing presence of units unveiled for the first time in the world of motor and electric multihulls" emphasizes Anaïs David, curator of the International Multihull Show.
The 2026 edition is thus part of a dynamic transformation, both structural and strategic, designed to consolidate the show's position as the global benchmark for multihulls, both sail and power.
A redesigned visitor path and the opening of a third marina
The modernization of the port of La Grande-Motte, due to start in early 2026 on the western part of the harbour, was the catalyst for this overhaul. In close consultation with the port's teams, the organizers have designed a new layout to guarantee optimum reception conditions.
The entrance to the show will now be located on the city side, at the harbour master's office. The mobile footbridge, which previously linked the show to the city, becomes a central element of the event.
Visitors will be able to move more easily between the exhibitors' village and the three marinas:
- the historic marina,
- quai des Douanes marina (formerly powercat marina),
- and the new marina opposite the harbour master's office.
The new layout is designed to streamline traffic flows, make the show easier to understand and enhance visitor comfort.
A stronger international dimension and a show focused on innovation
The marketing of the 2026 edition confirms the international appeal of the International Multihull Show. At this stage, 20% of registered exhibitors are newcomers, all from abroad. They represent a broad spectrum of the industry: equipment manufacturers, new multihull shipyards, naval architects and service companies.
The completely redesigned and extended exhibitor village will offer a comprehensive showcase of the latest innovations in the sector. In particular, it will host the Multihull Design & Innovation area, dedicated to nautical design trends, technological solutions and sustainable solutions shaping the multihull of tomorrow.
Numerous world firsts, with a strong surge in powercats
While the marketing of the show is still underway, the 2026 edition already boasts several WORLD PREMIERES, including :
- Whisper 50, a premium solar-powered electric catamaran,

For the first time, more power multihulls than sailing multihulls are among the world premieres announced, illustrating the rapid evolution of the market.
The show will also welcome the Aquila 50 SAIL for the first time in Europe, while the New Zealand hybrid catamaran Earthling E-40 will make its French debut. New versions of the Leopard 52, Leopard 53PC and Moorings 5200 will also be presented.
The multihull market: a solid, structured dynamic
Invited to give his analysis, Sébastien Milcendeau (Fédération des Industries Nautiques), who is also involved with the European Boating Industry and the International Council of Marine Industry Associations, gave an overview of the market.
" In the liveaboard segment, the industry could produce as many multihulls as monohulls this year" he said.
The multihull market has grown by an average of over 5% over the past decade, but is now returning to a healthier footing after the turbulence caused by the pandemic. The growth of power catamarans, which now account for 25% of multihull sales, confirms their transition from a niche to a structuring segment.
A real game changer in the nautical landscape, multihulls are seductive because of their ability to meet the expectations of new yachtsmen: space, comfort, stability, ease of use and improved environmental performance.
A stronger team to support this new phase
This new edition is also accompanied by a change in the organizing team. Guillaume Verbrugghe, also Commissioner of the Paris Nautic Show, is now in charge of M2Organisation, alongside Jean-Paul Chapeleau, President of the Fédération des Industries Nautiques and M2O.
Recently appointed International Multihull Show Commissioner, Anaïs David is in charge of the event's organization. Kelian Delubac joins the team in charge of business development, while American Tess Smallridge becomes the show's Press Attaché, with the mission of strengthening international media relations.
