Quick SpA takes control of Sanguineti Chiavari

Italian equipment manufacturer Quick SpA has made official the signing of an agreement to acquire 100% of Sanguineti Chiavari. The marine equipment group is taking control of the family-owned company, which specializes in complex deck equipment and accessories for large vessels, from gangways to dinghy handling systems and swim ladders.

High value-added products

For the Quick Group, this acquisition is part of its desire to develop its offer towards high value-added products for the pleasure boat industry, as it has done for several years, launching in particular high-power stabilizers and thrusters. Michele Marzucco, CEO of Sanguineti Chiavari, is delighted with the potential of the company: "Sanguineti is a company that offers significant production skills and a brand recognized worldwide for its quality and reliability, in a market segment with high growth potential. Sanguineti is the first step in a project that aims to position Quick as a supplier of high value-added systems in all market segments."

Quick indicates that it wants to develop at Sanguineti more industrialized ranges to serve the market of smaller units.

New acquisitions to come

The Chairman of the Quick Board of Directors and partner of Fondo Italiano, the group's shareholder, outlines Quick's ambitions. "We're seeing a lot of interest from industry entrepreneurs in our consolidation project, and we hope to continue in that direction and announce additional buyouts of notable companies in the supply chain as early as this year."
