2nd wave of state funding for marinas and water sports facilities

The Secretary of State for the Sea has launched the 2nd stage of the call for projects for the ecological transition and the modernization of marinas and nautical bases. A 30 million euro plan.

New wave of budget for marinas and waterfronts

Hervé Berville, Secretary of State for the Sea, has announced the opening of the 2nd wave of the call for projects for water sports within the Destination France tourism plan. With a budget of 30 million euros for the period 2022-2025, the call for projects for marinas and nautical bases of the future targets the 500 marinas along the coast and the numerous nautical bases.

The 1st part of the call for projects, led for the State by CEREMA and ENVSN, has already unveiled its winners at Nautic 2022, supporting various projects, from the restructuring of old ports such as Port-la-Forêt to the creation of a cargo area in Charente-Maritime through investments in Mayotte. In total, 7 million euros have been allocated in 2022.

Files to be submitted in the first half of 2023

The selected files can be eligible for envelopes of up to 1 million euros for marinas and 800,000 euros for water sports facilities.

The new wave of the call for projects will run through the beginning of 2023. Projects for targeted actions of more than 10,000 Euros and less than 300,000 Euros can be submitted throughout the first semester.

On the other hand, for applications exceeding 300,000 euros, a deadline is set for April 15 for marinas and May 15 for water sports facilities.
