Public funds to support innovation in marinas

Dry ports at the heart of the Pays de la Loire call for projects

The Pays de la Loire Region is launching a new call for projects "Innovative marina." Details of this new section of the Loire nautical plan and its objectives for the port infrastructures of tomorrow.

Continuation of the Marina Innovation Funding Program

Since 2018, the Pays de la Loire Region has been rolling out its action plan for the future of boating. It is reflected in particular in a series of calls for projects launched every year to local authorities, private companies and associations to bring out new solutions for the yachting of tomorrow. In 2022, it is launching a new round of the "Innovative yachting harbor" call for projects designed to develop harbor infrastructures to meet the new uses of yachting.

Internet of things and circular economy

As in previous years, the call for projects consists of 3 main components:

  • The Connected Port
  • The Port as a place of experimentation
  • The Sustainable Port

In 2022, particular emphasis will be placed on the use of the Internet of Things in the connected port environment, as well as on the circular economy and dry ports in the Sustainable Port theme. In the experimentation area, the integration of a partnership dimension integrating SMEs in the sector is essential.

The jury will choose projects integrating innovative developments, adapted to the regional port offer and able to justify economic spin-offs for the territory. For the community, they should be a showcase of the local dynamism of the nautical sector.

Applicant companies and groups must submit their applications to the Pays de la Loire Region before may 31, 2022 at the address croissancebleue@paysdelaloire.fr
