New title sponsor for the Mini Transat

The Mini Transat, a reference event for ocean racing skippers, has a new title partner. After several editions in the colors of the brand La Boulangère, it becomes Mini Transat EuroChef. The brand of kitchen equipment for hotels and restaurants is supporting the 2021 edition of the solo transatlantic race.

Rescue of Nobiskrug

The German shipyard Nobiskrug, owned by the Prininvest holding company, which also runs the CMN shipyards in Cherbourg, had been placed in liquidation in the spring of 2021 . The assets of the shipyard, famous for the construction of the Sailing Yacht A, were finally taken over by another German shipyard, FSG, more specialized in passenger ships.

Cancellation of the Yacht Racing Forum

The organizers of the Yacht Racing Forum have officially abandoned the idea of a 2021 edition of the event that brings together sail racing professionals.
