Brunswick clears its Covid debt

The American leader in yachting, the Brunswick Group, owner of the engine manufacturer Mercury Marine and emblematic boat brands such as Sea ray, Boston Whaler, Quicksilver and Bayliner, has announced the repayment of the debt contracted in March 2020, in anticipation of the difficulties linked to the Covid-19. After repaying $300 million in June and July, the remaining $85 million of the revolving credit will be honoured at the end of August.

New Bravo Four S base plate for MerCruiser

Mercury Marine's Mercruiser range of base plates has been expanded with a new product. The American manufacturer presents its base, whose propellers are positioned in front of the foot, as specially designed for water sports, from skiing to wakeboarding, in order to obtain an optimal wake.

Rolls-Royce invests in clean energy

The engine and energy manufacturer Rolls-Royce has inaugurated its new Power Lab. This new organisation, attached to the Power Systems division, is responsible for working on the decarbonisation of propulsion and energy systems for the maritime and infrastructure world. Research will focus in particular on alternative synthetic fuels to fossil fuels, based on renewable resources, and on fuel cells.

Argo Yachting represents Siren Marine

The American manufacturer of hardware and software for connected boats Siren Marine has chosen a new distributor for Europe. It will now be distributed by the British company Argo Yachting, cousin of Princess Motor Yacht Sales, which is also a distributor for Chris Craft in the UK and the Balearic Islands.
