The deck covering market is changing. To meet the growing demand for comfortable, hard-wearing and easy-to-install materials, Seaview Progress is developing a complete range of products based on the Raptor Deck Marine . Made from closed-cell EVA foam, this anti-slip solution is now aimed at European construction sites, with an end-to-end industrial organization: jig management, stock, CNC cutting, customized finishing.

Industrial integration: meeting the logistical needs of construction sites
Seaview Progress chose to bring the entire process in-house. Jigging, modeling, engraving, CNC cutting and shipping are now centralized on their Fréjus premises. This integration reduces lead times, simplifies technical exchanges and enables complete control of batches, a significant advantage for sites with high production rates or working to order. The buffer stock available in France also facilitates adjustments and emergencies.

Formats available: from standard kits to raw sheets
Raptor Deck Marine is available in two logistical circuits: pre-cut kits for standard models (sailboats, motorboats and RIBs), and cut sheets for custom fittings. Pre-cut kits are aimed at industrial yards wishing to reduce installation time. The latter are of interest to outfitters or refit companies able to manage cutting, with the possibility of local customization.

EVA foam designed for professional use
The foam used meets the main requirements of the nautical sector: resistance to salt water, UV resistance, high thermal tolerance, non-slip surface even when wet. It is non-porous and certified formaldehyde and CFC-free, which facilitates its acceptance in standardized environments (public procurement, ISO shipyards, regulated refits). Its advertised temperature range (-20°C to +80°C) means it can be used without any special precautions in our latitudes, even in midsummer.

Custom machining: towards an industrialized semi-finished product
With the integration of CNC cutting, Seaview Progress no longer offers just a material, but a semi-finished product. Professionals can order a custom kit, including engraved elements (logos, numbering, technical markings). This also opens the way to OEM partnerships, particularly for short production runs or brands wishing to add a distinctive finish to their range. An adaptable offer, but one that implies a fluid technical interface with design offices.

Related markets: towards controlled diversification?
In addition to boating, Seaview Progress is also targeting outdoor fittings, motorhomes and even public facilities (playgrounds, wetlands). For marine professionals, this opening up can be seen as an opportunity to diversify, but also requires a clear offer to avoid diluting the B2B message. Technical performance remains the key criterion in an environment where certifications and uses are specific.
