The EDGE Yacht International group continues its worldwide structuring with the announcement of the opening of an office in Florida. Based in Tampa Bay, this entity aims to offer local yacht technical, social and administrative management services. The move comes against a backdrop of expansion in the US market, where the concentration of large yachts and private harbors continues to grow.

A stronger presence in a high-demand market
The opening of EDGE Yacht International-USA responds to several dynamics specific to the Florida region. The sheer volume of yachts based in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and the Keys creates a sustained demand for outsourced management services, both for crews and for regulatory maintenance. Tampa Bay, with its direct connections to the entire Gulf of Mexico, offers an ideal base from which to tap into this clientele.

The offer is based on a triptych: crew management, yacht supervision and administrative follow-up. Within the framework of the MLC 2006, EDGE handles the recruitment, contractualization and complete social management of sailors. Technical support is provided via integrated digital CMMS-type tools, while administrative operations âeuros registrations, insurance, regulatory audits âeuros are centralized within the owner platform.

A structure already present in several watersheds
Founded in 1998 by two merchant navy captains, the EDGE group is structured around several divisions. The EDGE CREW brand is dedicated to crew management; EDGE SHIP takes care of maintenance and technical aspects, while EDGE INTERNATIONAL coordinates international operations. All under the EDGE Yacht International banner.

In addition to the new U.S. agency, the company already has offices in Cannes, Marseille, Dubai, Mauritius and the Caribbean. Each office ensures local coordination of assignments on behalf of shipowners, with a centralized approach that can be adapted to the standards of each flag.
The Group's focus is on structured, delegated management, based on a secure digital interface that enables shipowners to maintain budgetary, technical and human resources visibility, while offloading all operational constraints.
