Hunyvers strengthens its Atlantic presence with the acquisition of AD Marine

With the acquisition of AD Marine, a fittings specialist based in Piriac-sur-Mer and Arzal, the Hunyvers group is pursuing its strategic development in the yachting sector. The deal, finalized on July 11, 2025, strengthens the group's territorial presence on the Atlantic seaboard.

A targeted recovery

On July 9, 2025, the court designated Hunyvers as the buyer of AD Marine, a well-established fittings retailer in receivership. Two days later, the deal was finalized. This rapid implementation reflects the Group's clear determination to consolidate its presence in the marine sector and to integrate a strategic entity into its organization without delay.

With sales of around one million euros, a breakeven operating result and seven experienced employees, AD Marine has solid foundations, despite its legal situation. Its operating model is based on two stores, one in Piriac-sur-Mer and the other in Arzal, both in the heart of dynamic areas.

A stronger geographic network around La Baule

Already active in La Baule and around Arcachon, Hunyvers sees this acquisition as a natural extension of its area of influence. The AD Marine sites are ideally situated within the group's perimeter, at the crossroads of Loire-Atlantique and Morbihan, two departments with a high density of yachtsmen and maritime players.

This integration completes a coherent territorial network, while opening up new sales prospects in a sector where proximity to customers is a major driver of customer loyalty.

An expansion strategy focused on boating

Historically specialized in leisure vehicles, Hunyvers has been diversifying into the marine sector for several years. Following investments in boat distribution, associated services and equipment, this new acquisition confirms the company's determination to become a key player in the global outdoor market, where boating now plays a central role.
