Appointments, departures, job changes... There has been some movement within NMMA Canada, Synapseo nautisme, Tecmar, SNSM, Silent Yachts.

NMMA Canada appoints director

The National Marine Manufacturers Association or NMMA Canada has a new executive director. After the surprise departure of Sara Anghel, the association of Canadian boating professionals was left without a director. It has just appointed Marie-France Poirier McKinnon to succeed her. Poirier McKinnon was previously employed by major Canadian governments.

Synapseo appoints new sales manager

French electric motor manufacturer Synapseo is changing its sales manager. After a year with ADV Propulse, Jean-François Zuccaro joined the Morbihan-based company in April 2023. He succeeds Pierre-Emmanuel Pavageau.

New sales department at Tecmar

After more than 4 years with Tecmar, Thiarra Mbodji, Sales Administrator for the South of France, left the company at the end of April to pursue new professional projects. She is replaced by Manuel Murail, former agency assistant within the Ortec group.

New inspector for the SNSM in the Mediterranean

SNSM has appointed a new inspector general for the Mediterranean area, replacing Denis Bigot. He is Nicolas Renaud. He has worked for the French Navy and various CROSS, and ended his career as director of CROSS Etel. He is now in charge of the proper functioning of the Mediterranean rescue stations and the smooth running of operations.

Silent Yachts structures its production team

The electro-solar catamaran specialist Silent Yachts has announced the arrival of an operational director to structure and strengthen the organization of its multihull production in Italy and Turkey. Fabrizio Iarrera, who has more than 20 years of experience in the nautical industry, with Azimut Benetti and the Monte-Carlo Yachts brand in the Bénéteau Group.
