Pierre Massé at the head of Harken

After the death of Patrick Rieupeyrout With the appointment of Pierre Massé as General Manager of Harken France in March 2021, the French branch of the American rigging group has had to review its organizational chart. As it had been organized, his right-hand man Pierre Massé, who joined the company in 2007 as sales manager and then director of operations, has taken over the position of general manager. Before joining the company, he had participated as a sailor and technician in 3 America's Cup campaigns.

Frederic Switala represents Meta Yachts

The Meta shipyard, recently renamed Meta Yachts, has acquired a dealer on the Mediterranean coast. The new structure, named Meta Yachts Service, is chaired by Frédéric Switala. It is located at the Port Navy Service site in Port Saint-Louis du Rhône. Previously branch manager at Atlantic Yacht Courtage (AYC) between 2015 and 2019, Frédéric Switala will offer a brokerage and service activity for travel yachts, in addition to the marketing of Meta boats.

Foucauld Bertrand leaves Kent Marine

The head of communications for the Navico group brands, Foucauld Bertrand, is leaving Kent Marine. He had joined the company from the Alliance Marine group in January 2021 ,after promoting the same products within MC Technologies. As a result, Kent Marine is looking to expand its marketing team of fishing specialists.

Gael Frébourg leaves Yakapartir to found Case Départ Nautique

At the origin of the Yakapartir cruising school in 1999, Gaêl Frébourg has announced his departure from the well-known association in the La Rochelle docks. He will create by the end of 2021 the company Case Départ Nautique to offer cruises, training and coaching for aspiring boaters, as well as dedicated equipment.
