Sylvain Mizzi joins Accastillage Diffusion

After more than 8 years in the Cabesto network of nautical stores and almost 9 years with the Orange Marine yachting equipment sales site, Sylvain Mizzi joined the Accastillage Diffusion - Intermer central unit. He takes over the management of the new department, which brings together Network Sales Animation, Communication, Web and Customer Service. His mission will be to "promote a new corporate culture that is resolutely customer-oriented".

Bower: From Brunswick to Chris Craft

Huw Bower, whose departure from the presidency of the Brunswick Group's boat branch after 15 years with the American leader in yachting was announced at the beginning of September, is joining the Winnebago Group. He will take over the presidency on 12 October 2020. Owner of the famous motorboat brand Chris Craft, the recreational vehicle specialist will be able to draw on Huw Bower's experience to "increase Winnebago's presence in other areas of the outdoor activity" and possibly extend its pleasure boating portfolio.

New General Manager at OC Sport Pen Duick

OC Sport Pen Duick, the company organising regattas and ocean races, notably at the head of the Solitaire du Figaro and the Route du Rhum, is acquiring a new general manager. Joseph Bizard, who joined the company in 2015 and has been Director of Development since August 2018, took up his responsibilities in September 2020.

World Sailing is going to renew its organisation chart

The 2020 General Assembly of World Sailing, the international sailing federation, will appoint its new president on November 1st, 2020. 4 candidates are in the running: the outgoing president, the Danish Kim Andersen, the Chinese Quanhai Li, the Uruguayan Scott Perry and the Spanish Gerardo Seeliger. Among the 15 candidates for the vice-presidency, the Frenchman Yann Rochereux, who is already a member of the 2016-2020 steering committee, was nominated.
