Northstar and Honda Marine Europe formalized a new OEM partnership on January 15, 2026. The agreement covers the integration of Honda Marine outboard engines into the Northstar range of semi-rigid boats, with the aim of offering coherent, simplified packages tailored to the needs of European markets.
A structuring OEM partnership

The partnership is based on the provision of Honda engine packages on selected Northstar models. It also includes a Honda pre-rigging option offered at no extra cost, to simplify the building process while allowing freedom of choice on the final configuration.
For Northstar, this approach aims to enhance compatibility between hull design and outboard engine characteristics, while optimizing the production chain and after-sales support.
An industrial and international rationale
Northstar President Cengiz Arsay emphasizes that this partnership is part of a strategy based on efficiency and long-term support, in line with the diversity of markets addressed by the brand. The association with Honda Marine Europe enables us to offer ready-to-sail packages, based on engines recognized for their reliability, efficiency and versatility.
For Honda Marine Europe, the aim is to strengthen collaboration with manufacturers to offer optimized boat engine configurations, with an outboard range covering power ratings from 2.3 to 350 hp, including 200 and 250 hp V6s and 115 and 150 hp 4-cylinders.

V8-powered Orion 8 on show at Düsseldorf
As a concrete illustration of this partnership, the Northstar Orion 8 equipped with Honda Marine's BF350 V8 engine will be on display at Boot Düsseldorf 2026, from January 17 to 25, 2026. The unit will be on display on the Honda Marine stand, Hall 3, Stand C70.
Designed by Adam Younger, the Orion 8 is based on a stepped hull developed to maintain stable, comfortable seakeeping even in rough seas. The deck is designed for all-day use, with ergonomic seating, a deep deck and an enclosed toilet compartment.
With this partnership, Northstar and Honda Marine Europe have strengthened their position in the premium semi-rigid segment, relying on greater industrial integration and a clearer product offering for the professional network.
