Marine distributor and equipment supplier Allpa Marine Equipment announces the creation of Allpa Marine Group. This is the first element of a growth strategy that goes beyond its German and Dutch markets.

Creation of Allpa Marine Group

Allpa Marine Equipment, a sales and distribution company for yachting equipment, has announced the creation of a new entity called Allpa Marine Group (AMG). This new structure is created in association with the investment fund Bencis Capital partners to support the growth objectives of the company, founded in 1971 in the Netherlands, in Nijmegen, near the German border. It distributes a number of brands such as Seastar, Johnson Pump, Technodrive/TwinDisc, Radice, Lofrans, Selva and Solé. The company is present in the original equipment market in shipyards, as well as in the aftermarket for pleasure craft, with 25,000 references. Mark Rutgers will remain at the head of Allpa Marine Equipment.

Growth in the European rigging market

Well-known in its northern European market, the company wants to develop its growth more widely on the continent, in a context of concentration and organization of the sector, as also shown by the latest acquisitions made by the rival Alliance Marine group. "The goal for the next few years will be to strengthen our leading position in the Netherlands and Germany, as well as to expand further in other parts of Europe, autonomously, but also probably through acquisitions. We will look to strengthen and expand our product range with new categories, while remaining in line with our strong technical know-how and the support our customers and suppliers can expect" explains Mark Rutgers.
