Launch of the renovation of the port of Trentemoult

Work has begun on the redevelopment of the Trentemoult marina, south of Nantes. In parallel with the repairs to the Marcel Boissard quay, the NGE manager will dredge 15,000 m³ of sediment from the Loire River. The new pontoons will increase the capacity of the boats from 26 to 40 places. Completion is scheduled for February 2020.

London Yacht Show postponed again

The company Informa, which also manages the Monaco Yacht Show and the Ft Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), took over the London Boat Show in 2018. After the cancellation of the 2019 edition, the company also confirmed the absence of the London Yacht Show in 2020. British Marine, the British Nautical Industries Union, says it no longer has a privileged partnership with Informa and is looking for exhibition solutions for its members.

Tecmar is going to distribute Whale, Attwood and Garrellick

Tecmar, a distributor of deck fittings and yachting equipment, is expanding its portfolio. From December 2019, the company will take over the exclusive distribution for France of Whale brand water network pumps and equipment. The brands Attwood Marine and Garelick, respectively specialists in pumps and deck and seating equipment, both members of the Mercury Marine group, are also part of the Tecmar catalogue.

Lalizas buys a brand of life rafts

The Greek leisure equipment group Lalizas has announced the acquisition of the Italian liferaft manufacturer Arimar. It is thus expanding its range of on-board safety equipment, following the takeover of fire-fighting specialist Antipiros in 2018.

IMO Certification for Resoltech

The French resin manufacturer Resoltech has received IMO approval for its 2010FGCS topcoat and gelcoat for all floor, wall and ceiling applications. The certification broadens the product's spectrum of use and guarantees the fire characteristics.
