Suzuki partner of the Grand Pavois

The Japanese marine engine manufacturer Suzuki has announced the signature of an agreement with Grand Pavois Organisation. The outboard engine manufacturer becomes the major partner of the Fishing area and the Grand Pavois Fishing, the fishing competition held in parallel to the La Rochelle boat show.

Postponement of the annual boating law meeting

The association Legisplaisance, specialist of legal issues in the yachting industry has announced the postponement of its annual meeting. The 5th edition of the "Journées Nationales du Droit de la Plaisance et du Nautisme", initially scheduled for June 10, 2021, is postponed to September 23, 2021. The new protocols of the University of Nantes, which will host the event, do not allow it to take place.

Interdist recovers Albin Pump Marine

The French independent distributor Interdist has acquired a new brand of equipment for the nautical industry. The products of Albin Pump Marine (pumps, marine toilets, fans...) previously distributed in France by SEIMI, join its catalog.

Ferretti posts record results

The first quarter of 2021 is marked by a strong increase for the Ferretti Group. The Italian specialist in high-end yachts has seen its revenues increase by 40% compared to 2020, reaching 186 million euros, driven by Europe and the Middle East. Orders booked amounted to 300 million euros.

Thalos celebrates its 20th anniversary

The specialist in on-board communication, very present on board the yachts of the last Vendée Globe, is celebrating its 20th anniversary. The company was founded in 2001 in Ploemeur.

MB92 La Ciotat integrates the campus of trades and qualifications 4MED

The Côte d'Azur shipyard MB92 La Ciotat, which specializes in the refit of luxury yachts, has joined the Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications (CMQ) 4MED. The scheme, which is run by the French Ministry of Education and professionals, works on adapting training to the needs of companies in the sector. MB92, which plans to recruit 250 people by 2025, sees this as an essential need.
