A showcase for the yachting players of tomorrow

The Fédération des Industries Nautiques and its subsidiary in charge of organizing the Paris Nautic have announced the official launch of their innovation competition. Created in 2018, this event aims to give a showcase to innovative initiatives that shape the evolution of the yachting market. Organised in parallel with other operations such as a hackathon within the boat show, it is also a development accelerator according to the 2019 winners. "Taking part in the Innovation competition gave us additional visibility before and during the show. It enabled us to make ourselves more widely known to the general public, yachting professionals and the press. This "Best Product 2019" award carried us a lot during the weeks that followed. It established our credibility and convinced a large number of yachtsmen and fishermen who immediately placed orders to book their TEMOs," says Justine Perussel, sales director of the tEMO electric tender engines France .

A green edition for the Nautic 2020 Innovation Contest

For its 2020 edition, the organisers have put the emphasis on sustainable development and the conquest of new boaters. In addition to innovation, the ecological aspects and the accessibility of boating to the greatest number of people are two major selection criteria. Project leaders, whether for physical products or services, must submit their applications before 11 October 2020. Successful applicants will benefit from an exhibition space in a dedicated area and the winner will be awarded a stand for the 2021 edition.
