Fittings: opening and takeovers in BigShip stores

The BigShip chain of hardware stores announces several changes in its network. The company Carantec Espace Loisirs managed by Sébastien Béchu, owner of the Jeanneau Carantec Nautic and Brest Nautic dealerships, has bought BigShip Morlaix on the occasion of the retirement of its manager. It will also open the chain's 42nd store in Brest.

The Jaudy shipyard in Tréguier also joins the BigShip banner. It wants to reinvigorate its deck equipment sales activity.

Fischer Panda obtains NMEA 2000 certification

Fischer Panda, a manufacturer of recreational power generators, has announced that it has obtained NMEA 2000 certification for its xSeries and iSeries. Communication with the rest of the equipment on board the boat will be through a certified NMEA adapter.

METS Trade registration extended

The Fédération des Industries Nautiques, which has taken over the management of the French pavilion for the METS Trade international boat equipment show, has announced the extension of the registration period until 31 May 2020. Registration is open to all companies with an establishment in France, whether or not they are members of the FIN.

Cosmétiboat opens a boat cleaning agency

Cosméticar, a specialist in car cleaning, started in 2019 an opening to the yachting market. Given the success of the boat preparation and cleaning services offered by its franchised agencies, the network decided to open its first agency entirely dedicated to the boating industry, Cosmétiboat Riviera, on the Côte d'Azur.
