Piriac Marina

The Pays de la Loire region is launching a call for projects for an innovative marina. More details on this program with $800,000 in funding under the boating plan.

Innovating in marinas for the future of boating

In June 2018, the Pays de la Loire region adopted an action plan for the future of boating. It has since launched various projects, such as on dry ports in 2018 . In 2020, the institution is launching a call for projects for "Innovative marinas" with the aim of "bringing out the port of the future". It is articulated around 3 axes:

  • The Connected Port
  • The Port as a place for experimentation
  • Energy Transition: The Port 0 waste, 0 discharge; The Port in its environment

The Region is counting on these projects, which must demonstrate their economic impact on the territory, to serve as a driving force and example for the rest of the marinas in the navigation basin.

Criteria for the selection of future port projects

The call for projects is addressed to all the stakeholders in the yachting port sector: private companies, associations, public establishments or local authorities. It concerns sea and river ports, dry or afloat.
