Seatec 2020, 18th edition of the exhibition dedicated to yachting professionals
Over the past 18 years, Seatec has made its mark on the calendar of Mediterranean shipyards and the nautical industry. The Italian trade show brings together the entire ecosystem of suppliers and subcontractors to the yachting and pleasure boating industry, from designers to cabin lighting suppliers and site tools. Since its creation, it brings together buyers and designers in Carrara, Tuscany, close to the major Italian yacht builders, Livorno, Viareggio or La Spezia. 358 brands participated in the 2019 edition, which welcomed 5291 BtoB meetings and 4500 visitors.
In parallel to Seatec, Compotec is held a complementary exhibition dedicated to the composite industry.
Exhibitions, BtoB meetings, training courses and competitions
A large exhibition area allows suppliers of the nautical industry to set up their stands to present their services and products. Visitors can also register for BtoB meetings, notably through the new Seatec Shipyard Lounge.
The Seatec Academy hosts thematic conferences on technical problems in the construction of pleasure and ocean racing boats. Among the subjects that will be discussed in 2020 are: yacht refit, sustainable marinas, the fight against yacht rolling, Nox emissions.
A recruitment day, Seatec Career Day, will be held on February 7.
Seatec will also be the occasion for a start-up competition and the Rossinavi Design Challenge
