Servaux opens a 2nd Zodiac sales outlet

Exclusive distributor of Zodiac in the Bouches du Rhône for more than 60 years, Servaux is expanding its commercial prospects in the Maritime Alps. The yard, a reseller and accastilleur in Marseille, is opening a 2nd Zodiac sales outlet in Le Cannet. It will cover the area from Mandelieu to Monaco (except Nice).

Simrad launches a partnership with Hanse

The marine electronics brand Simrad, a member of the Navico group, announced the signing of a partnership with the motor boat brand Fjord of the German Hanse group. Simrad products will be used on Fjord 52 Open models, Fjord 44 Open and Coupé , Fjord 40 Open , Fjord 38 Xpress and Fjord 36 Open .

Cummins strengthens its position in electric powertrain

Engine manufacturer Cummins has signed a partnership with Kamaz, a truck and engine manufacturer, to develop a range of electric vehicles. Cummins is strengthening its strategy towards electric propulsion, which could eventually have outlets for marine applications.

A new BtoB boating event in the United Kingdom

British Marine, the representative association of British boating companies, announced the launch of a new event for professionals in March 2019. The first edition will take place in the Solent region. It will offer a mix of technical conferences, exhibition areas and meetings for British and international buyers.

New recruitment plan for the Bénéteau group

After a recruitment plan of 500 permanent employees in 2017-2018, Groupe Bénéteau is launching a new recruitment campaign in 2018-2019. It covers more than 650 permanent contracts, including nearly 490 permanent contracts in France and more than 160 international contracts.
