Jouko Huju gives way to Andrea Razeto at the head of ICOMIA

Appointments, departures, job changes... There was some movement at Dufour Yachts, Monaco Marine, Karver, ICOMIA, Oceanair

Pierre-François Lepoutre joins Monaco Marine

Pierre-François Lepoutre has been appointed head of Monaco Marine's sales network. He joins a company in full growth, whereas it comes from announce its intention to set up in Marseille the largest shipyard dedicated to the refit of megayachts . He had previously been sales manager for France, then sales manager for the yacht builder Dufour Yachts in La Rochelle.

New recruit for the Karver design office

Xavier Dumas has joined the design office of the Norman accastilleur Karver. This engineer had been in charge of R&D projects for 6 years for Pontos, during the design of its innovative winches.

New President for ICOMIA

The International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA), the international association of professional boating unions, has chosen a new president. Elected at the Berlin Congress in early June 2018, Andrea Razeto of the Italian association UCINA, leader of the equipment manufacturer Razeto & Casareto, succeeds the Finnish Jouko Huju. Canada's Sarah Anghel and Singapore's YP Loke are appointed vice-presidents.

Oceanair's creator retires

Andy FitzGerald leaves the management of Oceanair Marine. The founder of the equipment manufacturer, known for his blackout curtains installed on the deck panels to keep the saloon of the boat cool, retired. He started the company in a garage in Chichester in 1990. Oceanair Marine currently employs 200 people worldwide. The company has been part of the Dometic Group since 2016.
