A mirror site in 5 minutes
Vertitrade Technologies offers boat builders a simple IT solution to optimise their internet presence. The tool developed by the American company allows the shipyard to create, in 5 minutes, a mirror site for its dealers. "With an identical graphic identity and the emphasis on the manufacturer's brand, it makes it possible to keep the customer lead and avoid leakage to other manufacturers, as is the case with disparate and generally multi-brand dealer sites," explains François Sebire, Vertitrade Technologies' distributor for Europe.
Like what is done in the automotive industry, the websites developed by Vertitrade Technologies offer stock management functionalities common to the manufacturer and its dealer network. A yachtsman looking for a boat, whether new or used, simply identifies the dealer's stock near his home.

Vertitrade Technologies was founded by Amir Danaei and Chris Lamanna. The latter benefits from an excellent knowledge of the nautical world, after having been the co-founder of Marine Max and the 1st Sea Ray dealer in the world. François Sebire, distributor of Vertitrade solutions, previously worked for Baudoin engines and Brunswick Group, world leader in yachting.

Responding to boaters' changing needs
Dealer visits are increasingly targeted. It is therefore necessary to have the right information upstream. "We conducted a survey that showed that buyers spent on average between 8am and 3pm online before contacting a dealer," explains François Sebire. "With our products, we can offer boat brands good visibility. This corresponds to the manufacturers' desire to have a global offer with a common distribution strategy whatever the territory."
The Vertitrade Technologies solution is already used by the American shipyards MasterCraft and Crest Pontoons, i.e. around 250 dealers.
