Bénéteau announced the appointment of Luca Brancaleon as the new commercial director for the pleasure boat brand.

The Bénéteau brand has announced the arrival of Luca Brancaleon to head the commercial management of the Vendée shipyard. Since March 20, 2017, he has been in charge of the brand's commercial strategy in all its geographical areas.

François Rodrigues, who preceded him in this position, joins the Bénéteau Group's boat division to take on new business development functions.

13 years of experience in the boating industry

Luca Brancaleon, graduated in law from the University of Parma in 1996, has held commercial management positions in numerous industrial and nautical companies. After several years in the mechanical and pharmaceutical industries, Luca Brancaleon joined the nautical sector in 2005 as sales manager for the Italian powerboat brand Sessa Marine. He then joined the world nautical leader Brunswick for the development of its powerboat brands internationally, through Hatteras Yachts, Cabo Yachts, Boston Whaler, Sea Ray and L class.

Luca Brancaleon has extensive experience in motor yachting and will now be working to promote Bénéteau's sailing and engine ranges. In its press release, the Vendée shipyard states that it will rely on its marketing knowledge, multilingualism and knowledge of foreign cultures to bring a rigorous commercial vision oriented towards customer expectations.
