A new event
The European Professional Yachting Committee (ECPY), an association of yachting professionals, brings together more than a hundred companies in the sector: brokers, insurers, crew managers or service companies... He has been organizing Open Days for several years, allowing the development of the network and the visit of ships available for charter or sale.
The first Riviera Yachting Rendezvous & Symposium, is in line with these events, adding a day of thematic conference to the traditional Open Days. It will be held in Nice from 18 to 20 April 2017. Participation is open to all professionals, members or not of the ECPY.
A technical conference
The day of April 18 is entirely devoted to the regulation of yachting, through conferences from 9am to 5pm. The main subjects covered will be:
- ECPY-MYBA transport contract
- New French social regulations applicable to yachting
- Multiple use of yachts (private charter yachts)
- New charter regulations in Croatia
- New Italian tax regulations for charter flights
A workshop will be held in the afternoon on transport contracts, the MLC and national regulations.
About thirty yachts to visit
The 19th and 20th of April will be devoted to visiting about thirty yachts available for charter or for sale.
